Need for Speed Most Wanted is classic racing video game in which you will be free to move around the city as you are competing against other drivers. You’re cruising the downtown streets in a shiny new Lamorghini when gasp you spot an equally gorgeous Maserati tucked away down a side street. The only rule in Need for Speed Most Wanted is to race without rules. Well, that and the fact that driving, racing, and eluding the police are really enjoyable, for the most part. Each vehicle has five events associated with it. Victory in each of a vehicle's events nets you speed points, which you need to earn a set number of before you can challenge each of the racers. With its heaving roster of cars, Need for Speed Most Wanted is more for the car fetishist than the car chase fanatic, and the developers’ attention to the feel of each vehicle shines through – although the lack of cockpit artwork remains a bugbear. As well as their volatility, each car feels suitably weighty, but with its own individual nuances  a vintage Lamborghini controls nothing like a tuned Nissan. All is not lost, however repair shops are all over the city, and driving through one instantly fixes up your car and gives you a fresh coat of paint to boot. Additionally some parts of the city don't have many areas that are off the beaten path you might enter cooldown but find yourself with nowhere to hide from patrolling police who soon spot you and re initiate the pursuit.
