CyberLink PowerDirector  Deluxe 12 is a video editing software for non linear video editing, published by CyberLink Corporation. It allows users to capture, edit and output from within the software and has professional features suitable for the consumer level. CyberLink PowerDirector 12 is the latest edition of popular, feature packed consumer video editor. PowerDirector 12 does the impossible and improves their previous software with even more features such as multicam editing, slightly faster processing, theme design templates, and no crashes. The only thing that needs improvement is the storyboard mode. The Easy Editor is exactly what it sounds like an easy to use, basic video editor. This shouldn’t be interpreted to mean that it lacks power or functionality. In fact, the opposite is true. When you use the software, you'll see it's updated logo, and then a slickly redesigned splash screen gives you a choice of three levels of editing Full Feature Editor, Easy Editor, and Slideshow Creator. A new Customize Keyboard Hotkeys dialog displays all the program's hotkeys, and allows you to tweak them to suit your precise needs. Faster video editing speed is another added goodie to the new and improved PowerDirector series, admittedly it was only moderately faster than the previous version. A new Theme Designer allows user to customize pre designed 3D templates with user content, and other useful tools like copy/paste keyframe attributes, enhanced ripple editing, enhanced transition effects and supports more plug-in like Pixelan SpiceMaster.
